Buffalo stroganoff

ingridents:

      • 1 lb. buffalo meat, cubed
      • Button mushrooms, same size as cubed steak. (Optional)
      • 1/4 cup Tomato suace and/or paste
      • 1 – 3 tbsps. Sour cream.
      • 2 tbsps. oil
      • Crushed Basil leaves.
      • Garlic powder or crushed fresh garlic.
      • Water as necessary.
      • Flat noodles (1/4 – 1/2″ wide) prepared separately.

directions:

      • Saute cubed steak in oil over med-low heat until browned.
      • Drain liquid.
      • Add tomato sauce and simmer over med-low heat. Add water as necessary to cover meat.
      • Add salt, pepper, basil, garlic powder (or crushed garlic) to taste.
      • Add tomato paste to thicken as necessary.
      • Add mushrooms 20 minutes before serving.
      • Add 1-3 tbsps sour cream just before serving, stirring for uniform pink color.
      • Serve over prepared noodles.
